- The DS3231 RTC module ensures precise timekeeping even when the Raspberry Pi loses power. It uses a small coin cell battery to maintain the time, allowing the Pi to set its internal clock based on the RTC’s data during reboots or power cycles.

- Integrated Temperature Compensation: It includes a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) for improved accuracy.
